The win moved the Lady Blues into third place. Following the women’s game, the Capilano College men’s squad played to a 1-1 tie against second-place Malaspina. League lead- ing Langara, meanwhile, blanked BCIT 4-0. The Lady Blues’ next challenge is a big one, as they host second-place Langara this Saturday at noon. The men also face a daunting Saturday, as they take to the field against first-place Langara. Kick-off for the men’s game is sched- uled for 2 p.m. College basketball action is starting to pick up, as the Blues’ men’s team play two exhibi- tion games this weekend.
