Evergieen House, North Vancouver,
Wednesday, October 12, 1994. Born in
Winnipeg, April 3, 1908, Predeceased by
her husband Walter. Survived by her
three children, Ruth Darby, Barvie Clark
and Catherine Cole and twelve grand-
children. Ruth was an active meniber of
the United Church of Canada, particular-
ly as a choir member and leader of the
Junior Girls Choir at First United Church
in Kelowna, B.C. The family wishes to
give special thanks to the staff at
Evergreen House who, for so many years,
provided such loving care,

Lions Gate Hospital on Tuesday, October
11, 1994, Beloved husband of Betty.
Coving father of daughter ena and her

great-grandfather of Ashley. He is also
survived by his sister Mary and her hus-
band Les Ross, brother Bill and his wife
Stella, and all his dearly toved nieces,

KABELA - Edward Daniel (1928-1994).
Passed away suddenly on October 5,
1994 while travelling on the Gran
Canaria Island. He is lovingly
temembered and greatly missed by his
adoring wife of 44 years Jarka, his son
Edward and daughter-in-law Susan and
little grandson Garrett, Also by countless
friends, employees, and associates in
B.C., Caliente California, and his dirth-
place, Prague (Czechostovakia). Dad was
an avid tennis player who, with the fam-
ily dog Shogun, often enjoyed walks
along the West Vancouver Sea Watk.
Shogun predeceased Dad on September
22, 1994, scouting ahead, masking
traiis, the never ending companion. As a
husband and father he will be remem-
ered for his genesosity, sense of humor,
and always for his tove. Funeral service
to be held at a later date. Hollyburn
Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be
made to the Lions Gate Hospital Founda-
