We North Americans are a
sceptical lot, and there are
times, particularly when
somebody is trying to
convince us to adopt a new

lifestyle, that it seems
everyone is from Missouri.
“Prove -it,” “Show me,”
“What’s~in it for me?”
“What's the.catch?”

Even weight losers are

sometimes plagued by
doubts about the worth of
their efforts. “Will the final
results be worth all this
struggle and sacrifice?” they

Well, in the interests of
honesty, I must admit there
