All top’ ‘line hotels argue
about which is best — a
hotel-operated security
system’ or “Rent-a-Fuzz” —
the hiring of an outside
agency.

- Each is only as good as its
personnel
security advocates contend
that. they: have staff loyalty
and long-term employees.
The rental boosters quote
training and professionalism.
Who's right? Who knows?

One argument for outside
‘staff comes with this story —
it ‘happened in a downtown
‘Vancouver hotel, which, for
obvious: reasons. must remain
anonymous. NO — it was

A police helicopter was
buzzing his house and
Lindon wanted it to buzz off.
He said he tried waving at it
and when that did not work
pointed it at the chopper.

The helicopter went away.
but soon after eight police
cars with 14 officers arrived
