Construc- tion of the $460,000 Ambleside landing at the foot of 14th Street includes a plaza and fountain, fishing pier and beat launch. Later in the day a second ribbon-cutting event was held to open the western part of the Seawalk. The extension — which runs between 24th and 25th Streets — cost $800,000. The only remaining section of the Seawalk left to be constructed is betu:cen 14th and 18th Streets. Above, West Vancouver Ald.
