voted predominantly for ‘‘no change’’ in Satur-
day’s council and school board elections. Fourteen
out of the total of 16 incumbents running for a fur-
ther term retained their seats.

In the only mayoralty
opening, City Mayor Jack
Loucks had earlier been
returned for a fourth term by
acclamation.
