Twenty-two teams are entered, 12 mens and 10 ladies. These include both the mens and womens Mexican national teams, and a team from Kicl, West Germany. Last year the Irish Touring team was centered and the hockey festival West Van club returned the visit this April, playing in Cork and Dublin. Organizers stress that this is a festival, and not a tournament, thus allowing for socialization as well as fine field hockey play. They say the field at Hugo Ray Park is one of the best for field hockey in North America. Visitors are invited to come and watch the action, August 23 and 24, starting at 9:00 a.m. cach day.
