All Dear Editor: AIDS groups boldly lobby for an AIDS memorial in Stanley Park. They wish to erect a monument sim- ilar to a cenotaph ora war memorial. An honor reserved for our most patriotic and noble citizenry, in honor of those who gave their lives for the privileges Canadians now share. AIDS lobby groups correctly under- stand the technique of shaming a soci- ety. Cleverly designed campaigns that project guilt on to the social collective. Any who reject this engineered guilt are then ostracized by tax-funded lobby groups and media as homophobic or hate-mongers. Upon the success of the AEDS mon- ument we could then have a herpes or venereal disease monument or a drug overdose monument in Stanley Park.
