tease, showmanship, and inviting

To the ladies with giddy, high-
pitched voices who beckoned, “To-
om, To-omt", he, in his Welsh accent
politely responded, "Yes dahling, yes
sweetheart”

And when some wortien also felt

The voice, expounding a full-scale
range, resonated with expert ability to
reach into ‘the listener's soul and
evoke a full gamut of emotion.

Powerful, Oh ya.

And his repertoire included every-
thing from rhythm and blues: to
heavy metal, old hit singles ta funky
new material; You had to sing along.

Jones. looked: stocky-but solid,

compelled to catapull: underthingies
at the stage, Jones carefully dodged ©
the silky missiles and good-naturedly-
exclaimed, "Oh look, Marks ‘and
Spencer's or is it Army and Navy?"

He genuinely looked like he was:
having a great time. So did the audi-
ence.
