FOUR MEMBERS of the 103 Thunderbird Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Caclets received their pilot wings this past summer, Two of the North Shore flyers were awarded their Might honors in gliders, while the other two qualified in motorized aircraft. Warrent Officers Mitch Baker and Colby Harder both received flying scholarship pro- grams for the summer, in which they both completed their Private Pilot training. Baker did his instruction at Cadet Camp Albert Head. Harder’s training took place at CFB Chilliwack, Their Private Pilot training involved seven weeks of ground school and 50 hours of flying in Cessna 180 and 170 series aircraft.
