Krause goals vault Argyle girls soccer to sixth in province Grade 12 striker named to second ali-star team NICOLE KRAUSE wears number 17 on her uniform, but it should be three. Four times in the space of six games, she scored three goals to lead Argyle Pipers to sixth place in the B.C. High School Girls’ Soccer Championships in Victoria May 21 to 23. Krause is a Grade 32 striker who played for the B.C. Under-17 select team that won the Canadian all-star tournament last summer. She tallied three goals in both of Argyle’s 3-0 wins over Burnaby North and Carson Graham in the B.C. zone tourney that qualified teams for the provincials. Then at the B.C. tourney itself, she scored three times against both Belmont and Pitt Meadows in 4-0 victories. Gill Hicks and Suzanne Scorda scored the other goals.
