Price increases in other areas of the city have been somewhat more moderate. In Burnaby, for example, the Bungalow defined in the Royal LePage survey has in- creased $10,000 in the past three months to $140,000, 12 per cent higher than a year ago. In East Vancouver, the same bungalow is up 15.1 per cent in the past year to $160,000. Condominium prices have moved up along with the rest of the market. A. standard condominium apartment unit in Richmond, for in- stance, is up 13.3 per cent to $85,000 since last July. A standard townhouse with Unrree bedrooms in the same area is now estimated at $120,000, $10,000 higher than it: was three months ago. In Langley, a similar townhouse is valued at $68,000, up 10.6 per cent on the year, but unchanged since April. In Victoria, price increases for the six categories of housing tracked in the Royal LePage survey range from 6.6 per cent for a luxury condominium apartment to 10.2 per cent for a standard townhouse. Resale housing values cited in the Royal LePage Survey of Canadian House Prices represent the estimated current market value of typical homes and are compared with figures teported three months ago and a year ago.
