For Anita Botnen, (18) of Flicka Gym Club in North Vancouver, it was her first win of the Senior women’s ti- tle. She was followed in se- cond place by Grgi Zosa, 16 of SCATS club in California who is with the B.C. team. Their scores were 75.00 and 74.60, respectively. The third jmember of the team was San- dra Botnen 14, who com- peted at the semior level for ‘the first tume and came eighth overall with 71.38. The B.C. team finished with a total of 220.95 points just ahead of Ontano’s 220.00. Bonnie Wittmeier and Tracey Wilson of Flicka did not attend the competition Also on the in- jury list was Val Hansen of Port Alberni Anita Botnen and Grugi Zosa between them won the four women’s events. Kristin Wingfield, 13 who moved up a division this year came 11th overall with 68.20. She was tenth on balance beam with 16.90 and 12th on floor exercise with 17.65. She brought back the Jumor choreography award. Donna Haugland, 15 was doing Well in vault as she finished third with 18.78 and bars at second place with 18.10,but a fall from the vault hampered her in the other two events. Although not far behind in points Ursula Trpin, 13 and Lisa Onno, 13 of Flicka came 20th and 22nd with scores of 66.90 and 66.15.
