A come-from-behind weekend Mechanical problems and wet track in Portland The second round of the International Conference of Sports Car Clubs events was held this past weekend at Portland In- ternational Raceways. For North Shore Drivers this event meant a six-hour tow just to be part of it! He was faced with the task of making up for lost ground. On Sunday however, his troubles began as in that session his car lost all its water and overheated severely causing internal engine damage The car, a His crew then began what was to be a day long process of repairing the damage just finishing up in time for the afternoon race Mahood youned the grid of 24 starters in 15th position and he too had to face the task of making up for lost ground At the end of the first lap he was in Sth position, and hard charging after the leaders.
