In an interview, Dr. Gor- don Richardson, a resident of Mariners’ Cove, said council completely failed to address the question of con- gestion on Banbury Road. He said fellow residents were “‘stunned’’ at council’s ac- tions July 22 and said ‘I will complain to Marilyn Baker about the apparent railroading of the acting mayor.”’ Richardson complained some residents ‘‘don’t feel we have public input."’ And he accused District engineer John Bremner of being un- sympathetic to complaints from residents. Mariners’ Cove residents, who have formed a commit- tee, have written to council several times in the last two months outlining what they perceive as the tinain pro- blems they face and propos- ing several solutions. The residents have in- formed council the big pro- blem from their standpoint is the traffic congestion on Banbury road.
