ARMITAGE - Mary Elizabeth passed
away on October 4, 1991 at home in
West Vancouver. Born on March 29,
1913 in Gladstone, Manitoba and raised
in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. Survived
by her husband Dr. Harvey Armitage of
George Derby Centre, Burnaby; 3
children, Steve Armitage of Attin, B.C.,
Libby (Blake) Kelley of North Vancouver
and Harvey Armitage of North Van-
couver; 3 grandchildren, Greg, Jennifer
and David; 2 sisters, Phyllis Carins anu
Margaret Yakel, both of Parksville; and
brother George Barr of Shaunavon,
Saskatchewan. Mary also leaves
Aumerous nieces, nephews and friends
on the North Shore and on Galiano
Island. Memorial service to be held on
Saturday, October 12 at 12 noon at the
Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North
Vancouver, Cremation. In lieu of flowers
donations to the Lions Gate Hospital
Foundation appreciated. Arrangeraents
through the Memorial Society of B.C. &
FIRST MEMORIAL FUNERAL SERVICES.

DNIMHOF - Hendrikus (Hein) died peace-
futly in his sleep on October 5, 1991 at
the age of 66. He is sadly missed by his
loving wife Gerda; son Henry and wife
Maria; daughter Ineke and husband
John, their children Kelly, Trevor and
Kevin. Prayers were held on Tuesday,
October 8 at 6 p.m. at oly Trinity
Church, 2725 Lonsdale, North Van-
couver, with Mass of Christian Busiai on
Wednesday, October 9 at 10am, Father
John Tritchsler Celebrant. Arrangements
through FIRST MEMOKIAL FUNERAL
SERVICES.

GARNETT - Norman Edward, age 31,
sudderly an October 4, 1992 in Win-
field, Bc Predeceased by his father
Percy in i988 and sister Gail in 1958.
Survived by his mother Hazel; his two
brothers, Gerald (Kathleen) and Warren
(lynn); and sister Setty; also several
neices & nephews. Service to be held at
St. Andrews United Church, 1044 St.
Georges, North Vancouver, on Friday, Oct
11, 2pm. He will be sadly missed by his
many friends and his foving family. In-
terment Masonic Cemetery at later date.
