Man fined for hit and run

A 25-YEAR-OLD Vancouver man
was fined $1,250 March 2 in North
Vancouver provincial court after
he pleaded guilty to a charge of hit
and run.

Carlos Santos was charged in
connection with an Aug. 17, 1989

incident in which he attempted to
flee the scene of a four-car acci-
dent in which he was involved.

Appearing before Judge J.L.
McCarthy, Santos also had _ his
driver’s licence suspended for !8
months.
