Fashions on parade

ELIMAR CREATIONS is holding
a fashion show featuring its new
Spring "ne at the Kettle of Fish
Restaurant on Feb. 18 in Van-
couver, 900 Pacific Street. The
show begins at 12 noon. Lunch

SPRING ’89 fashion show with
Coriander and Raindrops will be
held at Rene’s Restaurant in Park
Royal Mall on Feb. 15 at {2:30
p.m. The show features rainwear
from Raindrops and accessories
and hats from Coriander. Reserva-

CONTESTANTS FOR the Miss
Teen Lower Mainland pageant will
compete for the crown at a fashion
show at Coquitlam Centre on Feb.
11 at 2 p.m., at the Bayshore
brunch and fashion show on Feb.
12 and at the pageant at Centenni-
al Theatre on Feb. 13. Tickets for
the brunch and pageant can be ob-
tained by phoning 985-0555.

SPRING COLLECTION of Jaeger
will be held at the Garden Lounge
at the Four Seasons Hotel in Van-
couver on Feb. 22 between 12:30
and 2 p.m. Models will stroll
around tables during lunch. For

THE KETTLE Creek Canvas
Company at Lonsdale Quay is
holding a spring and summer fash-
ion show at the Waterfront Bistro
at the Quay on Feb. 21 at 7:30
p.m. Donations at the door for the

SUBMISSIONS to the Matinee
Fashion Photography Retrospec-
tive are being accepted.
Photographers, magazines,
retailers, designers, hair and
cosmetic companies are eligible to
enter. All work must be in original
format (no tear sheets) and must
be submitted unframed and un-
mounted. All selected pieces will
be presented for the duration of
the festival — March 29 to April 2
at the Toronto Convention Centre.
Prizes and awards will be pres-

ented on opening night. A $25
non-refundable per piece is re-
quired. Submission deadline is
