EATING DISORDERS Group sessions slated TWO COUNSELLORS on the North Shore are launching a group for women with body image and eating difficulties. Celine Brouillette, a doctoral candidate in Counselling Psychology, and Sue Brink, who is finishing her masters in the same area, are running a 12-session . group starting mid-November. “£*This is for-women who feel . they’ te- locked in a struggle with ", their bodies, where food ‘is both ~ccomforter and. ‘enemy,’’ - says "Brink, ‘‘For a lot-of women, con- _ cern over: eating, body shape and appearance stops them from living full lives.”* Brink’ has run body image groups at UBC’s Health Sciences Hospital.
