Trustee Don Bell in nominating Lynas suggested that since the chairman was elected to represent the City of North Vancouver that the vice-chairman should be a rep- resentative of the district. Lynas questioned the need for ov) APs . such a move, insisting that no boundaries exist as far as the board is concerned, and said that each area is equally and fairly rep- resented by all board members. Trustee Macdonald declined the nomination bowing to the previous board experience of Jessup. Sworn in Tuesday night were newly elected trustees Don Bell, Anne Macdonald, Richard Walton and re-elected trustee Dorothy Lynas. Chairman Dungey brought to the board's attention the recent death of Argyle Secondary School principal James Arthur Buchanan and sympathies were extended to his family.
