A MACHINE that allows
doctors to remove brain
tumors. quickly and with a
minimum of patient discom-
fort is the target of a massive
fund-raising campaign that
kicked off in March,

Order of Eagles (FOE), with
assistance from the female
members of the Army, Navy
and Air Force Veterans club,
as well as ambulance and fire
department personnel, the
drive is hoping to gross upto

away as prizes since, under
lottery law, at least 25 per cent
of the gross must be given
away.

Webb said to date only
about one-third of the needed
funds have been raised.

Tickets are $2 each and sold
throughout North and West
Vancouver. Draw date for the
raffle is Saturday, June 29 at
the Eagles Hall, 170 West 3rd
St., North Vancouver, during
a special dance. All proceeds
will go towards the purchase
of the aspirator.
