sored by the Lions Club to visit Canada for five weeks.
Here she chats with two of her hosts Richard and Wilma
Neumann at the banquet ending the trip. The other
Japanese students who attended included Noriko
Kurasawa, Kaori Murayama and Nakami Zemba with
chaperone Harunobu Nitta. The girls teave Vancouver on
August 24. In turn, four Vancouver students went to
Japan, also sponsored by the Lions Club, and will return
August 22. They are Paula Pappajohn from Hillside,
Susan Gawlick from Argyle, Dave Lucas from Seycove
and Jacquie Wise from Windermere. Their chaperone is
Pauline Jorgenson.
