STEVEN DONG has been named as’ a-member of
the B.C. Juvenile (16-17 years old) Track and Field
team which will travel to Edmonton July 27-29, for
the Western Canada Juvenile Championships and
later to Halifax, August 9-16, for the Canadian
Legion National Track and Field Meet and Clinic.

Steven has been a
Nor’Wester for the past
seven years. In 1982 he was
named the Bantam (grade 8)
aggregate winner for the
North Shore Secondary
School Championships; in
1983 he won a gold and two
silvers in the B.C. Summer
Games; and this year he was
again named the Aggregate

100 metres (11.0) and 200M
(22.5). He won both events in
the North Shore; came se-
cond in the B.C. High School
Championships; came 4th in
the 100M and 2nd in the
200M in Eugene, Oregon
against a very strong field.

the B.C. Juvenile team by
