from free enterprise. The
ability to profit from in-
vestmeént risk and hard work
will always cause supply and
demand factors to balance in
such a country.

When supply and demand
are in balance inflation gets
resolved. Government
interference in free en-

scares the entrepreneur into
taking less risk. Such fear
creates less supply and
higher inflation.

The federal government
has done a masterful job of
destroying a great sector of
the type of people on whom
free enterprise depends. Yet
the Liberals alwyas seem to

get into power. Clairvoyance

wins elections.
The Liberals understand

that and one wonders if they
care what happens to
Canada if they are so power
hungry that they com-
promise free enterprise for
power.

The Conservatives,
understand how free
terprise works, un-
fortunately do not un-
derstand the principle of
winning an election.

Dear Editor: .

In the past 10° years
because of use of birth
control over one million
Canadians have not been
born. -If you could blame any
one person he would rank
with Hitler, Stalin and the
other mass murderers of
history. The only thing we
can blame and should blame
is the Income Tax Act.

In the 1920s a married
man could earn $3,000
without paying income tax.
In today’s money that would
mean an exemption of at
least $30,000. Because of the
heavy income tax, it is a real

have the message that the
