Miche traiteur on Marine Dive in’ West

she has attracted a regular, returning clientele
that visit the aromatic store for the tresh-baked
fare - all of which are

prepared daily in La Miche's very own kitchen.

Chatti emigrated over a year ago from Pai
where for nearly a decade she operated a string
of five traiteurs and a factory that kept the
satellite stations fully stocked with pastries and
sweets and all the necessary ingredients to
make the sumptuous meals she's fast becoming
known for.

All of the items on the ever-changing bill of fare
can be ordered and packed to go, making them
the periect take-home meal for the family on
the run.

La Miche features a wide range of taste-
tempting starters and soups (from minestrone to
cream of chicken) to mouth-watering entrees
such as cog au vin and baked salmon with
taragon cream sauce.

The store alse carries a daily selection of trast
paninis, mixed salads, pastas and quiche.

And while La Auche currently showcases only
cheese ar ham and cheese savoury crepes,
Chatti is planting to sean unveil new additions
featuring chicken and fish selections.

And of course, what french eatery would be a
fat dtaccompli without those tasty and
delectable desserts for which the Parisians are
world-renawned?

To that end, & he touts a varied selection
of pastries and sweet crepes wrapped araund
caramelized apples, bananas of peaches.

All of the already-atfordable dishes include all
laxes, sv you can take a bite out of each one
of La Miche’s home-made goudies, but not
your wallet.

The store employs six full-time and three part-
tinie employ hat strive to make sure each
customer's v a pleasant and savoury one,

it's only for a short visit to stop in and
take home a home-couked meal for the family.

Chatti: herself toils in the kitchen everyday
alongside head cook Scott Rowe, ensuring that
the dishes - all of which are her own carelully-
craited recipes - are made to the highest
quality.

Hardware in the 1700 block of Marine Drive,
is open from Monday to Saturday from 8 p.m.
to 8 a.m. and features special prices for kids.

Depending on the success of La Miche, Chatti
says she may open up additional traiteurs in
the not-too-distant future.
