an elderly woman on Nov. 28, 1995
in Vancouver;

@ stealing a credit card belonging to
an clderiy woman in White Rock
the next day.

Lavoie also pleaded guilty to
using the two stolen credit cards at
Earl's Restaurant in West Vancouver
on Nov. 29, 1995.

Yadolah Validi, 27, of North
Vancouver, received 12 months’
probation after he was found guilty
of assaulting a woman on July 31,
1995 in North Vancouver City.

Before Judge Doug Moss in
North Vancouver provincial court
on Dec. 4, 1995:

Dougias Elwood Phillips, 52, of
North Vancouver, received nine
months’ probation after he pleaded
guilty to causing a disturbance at
Andrea’s Restaurant in the 100-
block of West 16th Street in North
Vancouver City.

The disturbance consisted of
shouting, swearing, using insulting
language and being drunk, accord-
ing to the charge.

Graham Edward Core, 33, of
North Vancouver, received 12
months’ probation after he pleaded
guilty to assaulting a woman on
Oct. 7, 1995 in North Vancouver
City.

North Vancouver provincial court
on Dec. 4, 1995:

Iris Evelyn Nahanee, 41, of
North Vancouver, was fined $500
after she was found guilty of pos-
sessing 550 cartons of untaxed ciga-
rettes on Jan. 27, 1994 in North
Vancouver City.

The seized tobacco was forfeit-
ed.

North Vancouver provincial court
on Dec. 4, 1995:

Margaret Nixon, 29, no address
given, was fined $300 and received
12 months’ probation after she
pleaded guilty to possessing a stolen
credit card on Nov. 5, 1994 in North
Vancouver City.
