Road.

Built in 1911 by Lynn Valley pi-
oneer May Burrows, a founding
member of the North Vancouver
Community Players and social
writer for the North Shore Review,
the North Vancouver structure
was declared a heritage house last
year.

And owner Barry Henderson has
since turned the house’s garage
into the new home of Creation
Studios, North Vancouver's first
high-tech, 24-track commercial
recording studio.

Creation’s arsenal includes
Studer tape machines, MIDI
(musical instrument digital infer-
face), controllers, synthesizer

modules and a Macintosh = SE.

The studio’s mixing console was
recently purchased from Jim
Vallance, producer of such acts as
Bryan Adams, Tina Turner, Rod
Stewart and Glass Tiger.

Jane Anne Henderson, Cre-
ation’s director of sales, said most-
ly Vancouver bands have used the
studio to date. Interested musi-
