A Public Hearing is scheduled to provide an opportunity for Council to hear from those who believe their interest in property may be affected by changes to this Bylaw,
as outlined below.

BYLAW 7073 - “District of North Vansouver Zoning Bylaw, 1965, Rezoning Bylaw 1109”

Applicant: The Corporation of the District of North Vancouver
~ Subject Land: Any single family zoned residential property in the District.

_/ Proposed Text - The Zoning Bylaw is amended by:

~ Amendments:

. 1. removing the hed and breakfast regulations from the Home Occupation Regulations in Section 405 and creating a new Section 405A for Bed
and Breakfast business regulation;

2. amending Section 405 to permit only one home occupation in a building containing a bed and breakfast business;

3. eliminating the maximum floor area restriction for bed and breakcfast businesses;

4. establishing two classes of bed and breakfast businesses with limitations on the number of bed and breakfast bedrooms and parrons;

5. eliminating the prohibition on boarders and lodgers when a bed and breakfast business is in operation. The nunber of boarders and lodgers -
and rooms for Loarders and lodgers is included in the maximum number of rooms and patrons for both classes of bed and brealefast business- -
es;

6. requiring that the person licenced to operate a bed and breakfast business is a resident of the building in which the bed and breakfast § is
located;

7. eliminating the restriction on the number of resident employees and allowing one casual non-resident employee a at any one e cime;

‘8. eliminating the sign regulations and including new regulations in the Sign Bylaw; and : ;
9. including bed and breakfast business as a permitted use in single-family residential zones. : Se
