Favourite activitios: Zeus
and Raya love to go hiking,
squirrel hunting and sheep-
herding and practise obedi-
_ ence and agility. Raya recent-
ly entered her first obedience
“match and scored high: 193
out of a possible 200.

Favourite treat: Both dogs
love cheese and buffalo
bones. Mmm ...

Pet tale: Last February Zeus
earned his Canadian Agility
Trial Championship. On the
way home Wendy stopped in
the Fraser Canyon to walk the
dogs. Zeus headed straight
into the Fraser River with
Raya following full speed
behind him. Zeus made a
sudden stop and 9-week-old
Raya rolled head over heels
into the cold river. Says
Wendy “Zeus seemed to be
smiling, happy to see a very
surprised and cold Raya.”

The puppy is now more than
a year old and loves to dive,
jump or throw herself into the
nearest lake, river or puddle.
