Police were told bv the young men that the gun was “just. purchased” at 2 toy store. The next day the 16- year-old and the driver’s mother came to the News insisting that a photograph not be published. Everyone refused to give their names. The 16-year-old did say that he found the gun under the seat of the car and that i it belonged to his cousin's friend. The 16-year-old also said he was “just passing” the replica gun to the front seat. Police said they spoke “extensively” to the young men about the dangerous incident.
