Suzy and Danny from Lynn Valley were married Sept. 15 in Vanier Park in
Vancouver by a Cherokee shaman in a traditional Indian ceremony, followed
by a legal ceremony with a minister and marriage commissioner. They had
their family members and children written into their vows. The reception was
held aboard the MV Gulfstream II, which sailed up Indian Arm to Silver Falls.

Mary and Russ Boswell

West Vancouver residents Marg and Russ Boswell
were married in MacLeod, Alberta, on Aug. 30, 1941.
They celebrated their 55th anniversary at the Tarquay
with their three sons — Ken, Brent, Mark — and their
families, and Marg’s mother Jean Kerr — 95 years
young. Marg and Russ are now vacationing in Puerto
Vallarta. Happy 55th anniversary!

Aug. 3, 1991, at Cargill Manor in White Rock. Proud parents
are Christos and Xanthi Kionarakis and Joe and Joy Serdar.
The happy couple also welcomed the early birth of their first
child, Keegan Christos Stamati Baker.K. on Aug. 30, who is
doing well at Children’s Hospital. Congratulations!

Orville and Hilda (née Land) Mains are celebrating their
wedding anniversary on Oct. 8. They were married 53
years ago at St. Andrews United Church and have four
children: Carol, Richard, Debbie and Lynne, and_four
grandchildren: Chad, Kylie, Aaron and Darcy. They
owned Lynn Valley Grocery, Cypress Park Market and
The Bay Market for many years before retiring in 1984
and moving up to Cultus Lake. Congratulations!
