backers, but it also happens to be
the title of a best-selling hook.

Making Twig Furniture and
Household Things (Raincoast
Books, $24.95) was first published
in 199}, but due to brisk sales and
renewed imerest, the Vancouver-
based publishing house has reissued
the book. The new edition has been
revamped and enlarged.

Author Abby Ruoff offers
designs —- from start to finish — for
beginning woodworkers to sea-
soned veterans.

In addition to detailed instruc-
tions, the book dedicates an entire
chapter to sourcing the twigs need-
ed to build the furniture.
