The Christmas Bureau is about the same.”’ Bond is not sure what accounts for the rise, but he notes that more people are unemployed and there are more people who are new in the country needing assistance. “We're also seeing more and more single parents,"’ he says. The Salvation Army has a toy shop for the parents where they can pick out a toy for their child.
