couver provincial courthouses
recently to face various charges
laid against them.

Before Judge J.D. Layton in
North Vancouver provincial court
on April 4:

Nirmail Singh Siddoo was fined
$100 after the 24-year-old North
Vancouver man pleaded guilty to
speeding and operating a vehicle
without a ficence in connection
with Nov. 29, 1988 incidents on
Highway 99.

Michelle Rose Leone was placed
on probation for nine months after
the 37-year-old North Vancouver
woman was found guilty of theft
under $1,000 in connection with a
Jan. 25 incident in which cologne
was stolen from the Lonsdale
Avenue London Drugs store.

Vancouver provincial court on
April 4:

Tan Locksey Mitchell was fined
$250 after the 39-year-old North
Vancouver man was found guilty
of assaulting a female in connec-
tion with a Nov, 17, 1988 incident.

fined $150 after the 43-year-old
North Vancouver man _ pleaded
guilty to assaulting a female in
connection with a Jan. 10 incident.

North Vancouver provincial court
on April 3:

Antonio Leonard Pasacreta was
fined $75 after the 24-year-old
North Vancouver man _ pleaded
guilty to failing to appear for a
scheduled court date.

Harold Cameron Rourke was
fined $75 after the 24-year-old
North Vancouver man pleaded

guilty to failing to appear for a
court date scheduled after he was

charged with a parking infraction.

Jeffrey Gifford Walton received
a suspended sentence and was
placed on probation for six months
after the 36-year-old Vancouver
man pleaded guilty to intimidating
a government liquor store
employee with threats of violence
after he was asked to leave the 175
West Second Street liquor store in
North Vancouver in connection
with a Feb. 18 incident.

Before Judge R.D. Grandison in
West Vancouver provincial court
on March 20:

Pieter Sevensma was fined $75
and ordered to take a driver’s test
within 30 days after the 73-year-
old Lions Bay resident was found
guilty of driving without due care
and attention in connection with a
ov. 21, 1988 incident on the
Squamish Highway.
