A haven for kayakers, the river
is a popular spot for this white-
water sport, drawing enthusiasts
from across the Lower Mainland
to this North Shore locale.

Just below thz fish hatchery are
special hanging markers used by
kayakers which can be moved to
suit the individual’s varied abilities
and developing skills.

Gn summer days, visitors to the
hatchery can watch kayakers brave
the white water as they sharpen
their skills on a favorite stretch of
the local river. .

It is a growing sport and one
that is enjoying popularity with
