Man jailed
one year

A 44-year-old North Vancouver
man was sentenced to a year in jail
Monday after pleading guilty to
possession of cocaine.

Frederick Mackintosh Tait
pleaded not guilty to possession of
cocaine for the purpose of traf-
ficking but pleaded guilty to the
lesser included charge of posses-
sion of a narcotic.

A second charge of possession
of marijuana was stayed by the
Crown.

Tait was charged in connection
with a March 19 drug seizure in
North Vancouver.
