Keith Road) and Brooksbank Avenue” at a public meeting to he held on MONDAY, DECEMBER 9, 1996 AT 8:30 P.M., in the Council Chamber, Gity Tull, 141 West 14th Street, North Vaneouver, BoC. : AGENDA; Staff Presentation Representations from the Publie Discussion by members of the Policy Committee of Council Recommendations from Potiey Committee Adjournment The merits of re tining the existiag IOV lanes on East Keith Road from Tlendry to Brookshank Avenues and on Brooksbank Avenue from East Keith to Cotton Roads are being reviewed, The lanes were initially installed to facilitate rehabilitation works on the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Bridge, A number of stakeholders have been identified, and their positions have bees examined, For example, B.C. Transit has reported reduced delays te their bus operations. Although a final report will not be submitted until comments are received at this Public Meeting, preliminary analysis suggests that the HOV lanes should be retained. A report prepared by the Project Engineer dated October 28, 1996 may be viewed at the Engineering Department, City Hall, 141 West Mth Street.
