“The main purpose of our
discussions was to get more
information,” Gray - said.
“We're still investigating. In
certain areas they gave us
more information, in some
areas they didn’t.”

Gray said there would
likely be more mectings with
Chrysler officials this weck.

In January, Chrysler
announced it would drop
$400 million from a three-
year, $1-billion investment
plan for Canada. Gray had
said the government's $200
million assistance package
— comprising loan
guarantees to Clirysler that
take effect in 1982 — was
