A North Vancouver
student is off to Chile
to learn about a hot
trading relationship
that has begun to
emerge between
Canada and the South
American nation.

Alim Jiwa, 17, was select-
ed to participate in Global
Vision's Junior Trade
Mission to Chile.

Chile is a tong, thin
country running down the
western flank of South
America,

“The upcoming crip to
Chile will allow the... stu-
dents to adapt to Canada’s
quickly changing economy,”
said Global Vision, which
says it’s a non-profit educa-
tional organization commit-
ted ro invoking enthusiasm
in Canada's youth towards
business in a global market-
place.

The trade mission will
give Alim and other students
the opportunity to learn and
explore various skills, train-
ing, entrepreneurial studies,
