Celebrating our Heritage
and Natural History

The North Shore Heritage Weekend and the Coho
Festival are two annual events being celebrated in
September. Both feature walks that highlight the rich
heritage, culture and natural history of the District.

Heritage Weekend September 20 to 22

North Shore Heritage Weekend, September 20 to 22,
offers a variety of events in all three municipalities on.
the North Shore. View the historical displays at both
Lynn Valley and Capilano Malls, join a harbour tour or
take one of special heritage and nature walks.

Nature Walks at Maplewood Flats

Saturday, September 21, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Hourly guided walks and a slide show highlight the
human and natural history of the North Shore's only

wildlife sanctuary. Hosted by Wild Bird Trust.
