through North Shore
Community Services
(NSCS):

A summer day camp assis-
tant ‘is needed to supervise
and icad’ groups of children
for planning, organizing, mar-

keting, and promotion of

summer programs in the com-
munity.

Parade/on-site traffic con-
trollers are needed to work in
pairs on parade route and at
key locations on site; parade

route, crowd control and safe-
ty component (c.g. childrens’
safety); on-site vehicle con-
tral, to direct traffic at key
corners; and general direction
to pedestrian traffic.

Volunteers are needed to lead
children’s nature programs,
and to get involved helping to
preserve the park’s natural
beauty, learn about park
wildlife and get work related
experience.

Host volunteers are needed to
show newcomers to Canada
around the community and
help them fearn about the

activities and services available
in the community, for exam-
ple libraries, transit system,
recreation facilities. Practise
English skills and) provide
triendship.

Big Brothers are needed for
youths age 7 and 12. Have
fun together doing j joint a
ities of mutual interest, bik-
ing, hiking, fishing, movies
ete. Help fill a need in a young
boy’s lite.
