Snowboard fine

VANCOUVER man had to pay $600 after admitting to
stealing a snowboard In West Vancouver.

Santino Salvatore, 25, pleaded guilty
stemming from a Dec. 10, 1994, incident.

He alse received 12 months’ probation and was required
to pay a $60 victim surcharge. Judge Reginald Grandison
sentenced Salvatore ou Jan. 25.

Gar dumped

A STOLEN car was fished out of the water near North
Vanceuver’s Cates Park on Monday.

The roof of the white compact was spotted during the
morning as the tide was going cut, according to a North
Vancouver RCMP spokesman.

The car was stolen from Richmond. It was found near

‘the park's boat ramp.
No other details were svailabdle to press time.

Jail sentence

A 19-YEAR-OLD North Vancouver man was jailed three
months on Feb. 22 in connection with a house burglary in
the 1200-biock of Arborlynn Drive. Robin Darrold Simpson
pleaded guilty to break, enter and theft stemming from a
Feb. 8 incident. His criminal record was acknowledged.
