The gift is the largest donation to date and brings the total funds raised to close to $1 million. The campaign's goal is $1.4 million. The hospice society works towards a goal of integrated and compassion- ate care to the terminally ill and their families and promotes under- standing of palliative care within the community through education, research and funding.
