of the lunches the students abs-
tained from eating on Hunger
Awareness Day.

America, we eat 128 per cent of
the food we actually require daily,
while in the third world, people eat
an average 78 per cent of the daily
required food intake.

North America alone accounts
for 60 per cent of the world’s total
resource consumption.
