OVER THE weekend the Gulf of Alaska was the centre
of an carthquake measuring seven on the Richter scale,
but no damage or injuries were reported and the dreaded
tsunami Or sea wave that often) accompanies
undersea carthquakes did not materialize. Experts predict

a major earthquake will hit the Lower Mainland within
the next 200 years. Inquiring Reporter asks residents if
they would know how to react in an emergency earth-
quake situation.
