TOYOTA has revealed
the Camry Solara con-
vertibie will be built
exclusively in Canada
for sale in North
America in the spring of
2000.

Based on the platform of
the Canty 5lara ovo-door
coupe introduced fast fall, the
new convertible, like che
coupe, will be the second auto-
mobile to be built exclusively
at the award-winning Toyota
Motor Manufacturing Canada
(TMMC) plant in Cambridge,
Ontario which also builds
Coroila sedans.

The convertible will be the
product of an innovative ven-
ture between TMMC and ASC
Incorporated of Southgate,
Michigan, an acknowledged
industry leader in convertible
system development and pro-
duction.
