An established television writer
with an impressive wack record,
Lazer scored last year the cre-
ative producer position on CBC-
TV's The Orlyssey, an award-
winning drama nearing the end
of its second season with a third
in development (the show airs
Mondays at 7 pan.)

“t's the best job in the
world,” Lazer says. “As the pri-
mary creator of the stories, | pet
to make it all up. In the end,
eveything runs through my com-
puter.”

In the case of The Odyssey.

year-old lay Ziegler (played by
Ilya Woloshyn), a youth wha
lies in a radical coma treatment
centre after falling from his tree
fort.
