passed away suddenly December 19,
1992, Born in England in 3892, came to
Canada with her husband Sydney in
1919, sesiding in Quesnel, B.C. until
1953 when they moved to North Van-
couver. Predeceased by her husband in
1961. She is tovingly remembered by
her son Jim (Betty) of Quesnel, daughter
Joan of North Vancouver and sen Frank
(Dorothy) of Logan Lake; ten grandchil-
dren and ten great-grandcntdren. A
temorial service witl be held at 12
noon Wednesday. Oecember 23 at St.
Clement's Anghican Church, 3400 In-
stitute Road, North Vancouver. No
flowers by request. Donations to the
Narth Shore Association for the Mentally
Handicapped, 1070 Rovsevelt Crescent.

Vancouver on Wednesday, December 23
at 3:30 p.m., Monsignor P. Lopez-Gallo
officiating.

on December 18, 1992 at Lions Gate
Hospital. Beloved wife and friend to Tom
and cherished mother of Barbara (Scott),
Ron (Kim) and Doug (Nicky). With be
sadly missed by grandsons Chris, Jeff,
Alex, Cameran and Aaron. Lois was born
in Edmonton in 1925 and lwed on the
North Shore for over forty years. A me-
morial service was held on December 22

peacefully at his home on December 26,
1992 after a long illaess. A forty year
resident of West Vancouver, He is sur-
vived by his wife Betsy Joy, 7 children,
Ross, Wendy, Michael, Betsy, Jan, Kim,
Margo; and four grandchildren. No ser-

Robert: sisters Rosalie Judson of North
Vancouver, Litian Dougias of Coquitlam,
and brother Anthony (Marge) of Van-
couver; as well as several nieces, neph-
ews and other family members, No ser-

SMITH - Pearl ivy (nee Maywood), pass-
ed on December 15, 1992. Born in
Brandon, Manitoba in 1896. Predeceas-
ed by her husband James Kitchener in
1962, Susvived by drothers, Harold of
Nipawin, Saskatchewan, Roy of Wawota,
Saskatchewan, William of Surrey, B.C.;
sister Bertha of Winnipeg, Manitoba;
sister-in-law Anne of Smithers, B.C.:
daughters, Laurie Berger of North Yan-
couver, Donna (Edward) Patula of
Decator, tilinois: seven grandchildren,
eight great-grandchildren, nieces and
nephews. No service at deceased's re-

Arthur was reticed from B.C. Hydro, alter
serving them for many years as aa Etec-
trical Design Engineer. He was a Life
Member of The Association of Profes-
sional Engineers and Geo Scientists of
British Columbia; member of The
Engineering Institute of Canada; The
American Institute of Electrical
Engineers; The Quarter Century Club of
the British Columbia Hydia and Power
Autnority; Life Member and Past Presi-
dent of the Vancouver Electric Club;
Past President of the 0.6.4. B.C. Etec-
tric: Past President of Elco Credit Union
and Masonic Order - King George Lodge

He is susvived by wife Phyllis; 2
children, George Thomes (Monica) Sut-
ton of North Vancouver, Margaret Lucy
Sutton (Claude-Michel Prevost) of North
Delta; 6 grandchildren, Nicole. Paula,
Karen, Kenneth, Michael and Lisa, 2
brothers, Thomas Charles (Boll) Sutton,
Harry Hardcastle Sutton, and | niece,
Gienga, all in England.

He was aredeceased by one sister Mona.
Funeral service was held on Friday.
