Major expenditures in the city include a $5.3 million bill for Policing costs — up about 15% over last year. Garbage collection and disposal is up almost 24% to $1.4 million. * West Vancouver District's 1991 total budget is up 7.7% over last year for a total of $85,945,300. OF that amount $51,085,300 has been allocated for the operating budget. Fire and policing services in West Vancouver will cost about $13.4 mitlion this year while rec- reation and culture gets $8,854,900.
