DAVE SSOBLOM of North Vancouver took an early
lead and never gave it up to win the Jatest race in
Yamaha RZ Cup action at Westwood Motorsport
Park recently.

ANNUAL SUMMER NATIONALS

NORTH VANCOUVER dragboat racers came home with
top finishes from the Fourth Annual Summer Nationals on

Vancouver Island’s Cowichan Lake recently.

Mike Schofield won first place
in the race's 14- to 15-second
bracket, taking his boat through
the quarter-mile course fastest for
that time span.

In the 13- to 14-second bracket,
Mark Dowling clocked a first-place
finish.

Winning the competition’s [2- to
13-second bracket was Rob
Rauter.

Dave Lucas finished in second
place in the THl- to 12-second
bracket, While in that same bracket
